Sandra Cochran

Sandra B. Cochran, age 62, has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company since September 2011. From April 2009 until November 2010, Ms. Cochran served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Company and was named President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company in November 2010. Ms. Cochran previously served from February 2004 until April 2009 as Chief Executive Officer of Books-AMillion, Inc. (NASDAQ: BAMM) (“Books-A-Million”), a leading book retailer in the southeastern United States. Ms. Cochran serves on the board of directors of Lowe’s Companies, Inc. (NYSE:LOW). Ms. Cochran also served as a director of Dollar General Corporation (NYSE: DG) until 2020.

Doug Couvillion was named Senior Vice President, Sourcing and Supply Chain for Cracker Barrel in November 2016. He is responsible for the sourcing and supply chain functions including the sourcing of food, equipment and supplies. In addition, Mr. Couvillion leads the company’s off-premise business while also overseeing real estate, construction, facilities and retail merchandise distribution.

 

Mr. Couvillion, with more than 25 years of experience in the restaurant and retail industries, joined Cracker Barrel in January 2001 as Vice President of Finance. He has since held roles as Vice President, Corporate Controller & Principal Accounting Officer, and Vice President of Supply Chain and Quality Assurance.

 

Prior to joining Cracker Barrel, he previously held positions at Landry's Restaurants and Deloitte.

 

Mr. Couvillion holds a finance degree from the University of Texas at Austin and is a licensed CPA.

Laura Daily joined Cracker Barrel in May 2012 as Senior Vice President, Retail. As the company’s head merchant, she is responsible for all aspects of the company's retail merchandising, planning and allocation functions. Ms. Daily travels throughout the world to identify retail trends and oversee the selection and curation of products for the multiple assortments available in-store and online.


Ms. Daily has more than 25 years of experience as a merchant with a number of retail organizations. Prior to joining Cracker Barrel, she served as Vice President for Ballard Designs, an internet and catalog home furnishings retailer that was part of HSN, Inc. She also held merchandising, planning and store operations positions with Spiegel, Inc. and Carson Pirie Scott.


She currently serves on the Board of Trust at Cumberland University.
 

Ms. Daily is a graduate of the University of Illinois.

Jill Golder joined Cracker Barrel as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in June 2016. She is responsible for providing leadership for the company’s strategic financial management including oversight of the strategic planning, finance, accounting, investor relations, internal audit, information services and quality assurance functions.

 

Ms. Golder has more than 30 years of finance, accounting and corporate governance experience in the restaurant industry. Prior to joining Cracker Barrel, she held leadership positions at Ruby Tuesday, Inc., including Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Golder served in progressively more responsible positions during her 23 years at Darden Restaurants, Inc., including Senior Vice President of Finance for Olive Garden, Senior Vice President of Finance for Smokey Bones, Senior Vice President of Finance for the Specialty Restaurant Group, and Senior Vice President of Finance for Red Lobster. She also served as Director of Strategic Planning and Corporate Analysis for Domino’s Pizza International, and Chief Financial Officer of Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurants.

 

She currently serves on the board of directors of ABM. Ms. Golder also serves on the University of Tennessee Economics Advisory Council.

 

Ms. Golder earned an economics degree at Kalamazoo College and a master of business administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

hackney

Michael Hackney was named Senior Vice President, Restaurant and Retail Operations in April 2019. He is responsible for leading all aspects of field operations as well as the company’s training and development function.

 

He joined Cracker Barrel in 2010 as Regional Vice President responsible for operations in the northeastern area of the United States. Mr. Hackney has since held a variety of roles including Vice President of People and Talent, and Vice President of Training and Development.

 

Mr. Hackney is a four-decade veteran of the restaurant industry. Prior to joining Cracker Barrel, he owned and operated three restaurants and held senior leadership positions at Smokey Bones, Canadian-based Sir Corp, and John Harvard's Brewery & Ale House.

 

He was founder of the Downtown Louisville Restaurant Association and served as president for four years.

 

Mr. Hackney holds a degree in social science from Ashford University.

Donna Roberts

Donna L. Roberts was named Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer for Cracker Barrel in May 2020. She is responsible for overall strategic leadership and management of Human Resources.

 

Ms. Roberts joined Cracker Barrel in April 2012 as Associate General Counsel, advising the company on all aspects of labor and employment law. She was promoted to Vice President and Deputy General Counsel in 2018, and then became Vice President of Human Resources in 2019. Since joining Cracker Barrel, she’s been a six-time winner of “Best of the Bar” as nominated and voted by her peers and awarded by the Nashville Business Journal.

 

Before coming to Cracker Barrel, Ms. Roberts was a litigation partner at the regional law firm of Stites & Harbison, PLLC.

 

Ms. Roberts received her undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University and a J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law.

JenTate

Jennifer Tate joined Cracker Barrel as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer in September 2020. She is responsible for restaurant and retail marketing, culinary innovation and operations, menu strategy, communications, and research and insights.

 

Ms. Tate worked at Darden for 10 years before joining Cracker Barrel. While there, she held various leadership positions including her most recent role as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketer for Olive Garden. She also served as Senior Brand Manager of Pizza Hut for Yum! Brands for three years, and prior to that was a Brand Manager for Frito-Lay.

 

Before her career in marketing, Ms. Tate served in the United States Government, in the International Trade Administration and the Office of The Secretary of Commerce, including assignments which took her to four continents.

 

Ms. Tate holds an MBA in marketing from the Kenan-Flagler Business School of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a MA in International Relations and Economics from George Washington University and a BA in International Relations from the University of Southern California.

Rich Wolfson

Rich Wolfson joined Cracker Barrel in August 2017 as Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary. He is responsible for all aspects of the company’s legal activities and its risk and compliance management functions.
 

Prior to joining Cracker Barrel, Mr. Wolfson spent 11 years at CLARCOR Inc. as Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. He was a partner of the InterAmerican Group, a private equity and corporate development advisory services business. He began his legal career in the Chicago office of Baker & McKenzie and became a partner of the leading global law firm. 


Mr. Wolfson graduated with distinction from Northwestern University School of Law.
