masino

Julie Felss Masino was named President and Chief Executive Officer for Cracker Barrel in July 2023 and assumed the position, along with an appointment to the Company’s Board of Directors, November 1, 2023.

A seasoned executive with a track record of success, Ms. Masino has more than 30 years of experience driving innovation and growth for globally loved and recognized restaurant and retail brands.

Ms. Masino previously served as the President, International of Taco Bell, a subsidiary of Yum! Brands, Inc. (NYSE: YUM) from January 2020 to June 2023. From January 2018 to December 2019, she served as President, North America of Taco Bell. Ms. Masino served as the President, SVP and GM Fisher-Price at Mattel, Inc. (Nasdaq: MAT) from April 2017 to January 2018. Prior to her service at Mattel, Ms. Masino served as the President and then the Chief Executive Officer of Sprinkles Cupcakes from 2014 to 2017. From 2002 to 2014, Ms. Masino served in various leadership roles at Starbucks Corporation (Nasdaq: SBUX). She began her professional career in corporate positions at a variety of retail companies, including Godiva Chocolatier, Coach, J. Crew, and Macy's.

She currently serves on the board of directors of Vivid Seats Inc. (Nasdaq: SEAT).

Ms. Masino has a Bachelor of Arts in communications from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

Laura Daily joined Cracker Barrel in May 2012 as Senior Vice President, Chief Merchant and Retail Supply Chain. As the company’s head merchant, she is responsible for all aspects of the company's retail merchandising, planning and allocation functions. She also oversees the company’s Distribution Center. Ms. Daily travels throughout the world to identify retail trends and oversee the selection and curation of products for the multiple assortments available in-store and online.

Ms. Daily has more than 25 years of experience as a merchant with a number of retail organizations. Prior to joining Cracker Barrel, she served as Vice President for Ballard Designs, an internet and catalog home furnishings retailer that was part of HSN, Inc. She also held merchandising, planning and store operations positions with Spiegel, Inc. and Carson Pirie Scott.

She currently serves on the Board of Trust at Cumberland University.

Ms. Daily is a graduate of the University of Illinois.

Senior Vice President, Chief Strategy Officer

Chris Edwards joined Cracker Barrel in March 2024 as Senior Vice President, Chief Strategy Officer. He is responsible for leading the company’s strategy and fueling long-term growth.

Transformation Management Office, Real Estate and Development, Construction, Innovation, Corporate Communications, Consumer Insights, and Margin Transformation are under Mr. Edwards’ leadership.

He has extensive experience as a strategy leader, through the varied clients he supported during his years at Boston Consulting Group and during his 10 years with Constellation Brands, a diversified beverage company whose well-known brands include Corona, Modelo, Svedka, Mondavi, Kim Crawford, and Ruffino. Prior to joining Cracker Barrel, Mr. Edwards was the Chief Strategy Officer at Canopy Growth Corporation where he led strategy, corporate development, consumer insights, business intelligence and the project management office.

Mr. Edwards holds a BA in Economics and Government from Dartmouth and earned an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Bruce Hoffmeister

Bruce Hoffmeister joined Cracker Barrel in January 2021 as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. He is responsible for all aspects of the organization’s information technology, security and digital strategies and initiatives.

Mr. Hoffmeister worked at Marriott International for more than 30 years before joining Cracker Barrel. While there, he served in a number of finance and technology executive roles including his most recent role as Global Chief Information Officer.

Mr. Hoffmeister holds degrees in mathematics and biology from Thomas More College and earned an MBA from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management.

Craig Pommells

Craig Pommells joined the Company in December 2021 as its Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for Internal Audit, Investor Relations, Financial Planning and Analysis, and all Accounting functions. 

Mr. Pommells has more than 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry. His most recent role, prior to joining Cracker Barrel, was the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Red Lobster. Prior to Red Lobster, he spent more than 10 years with Darden Restaurants in various finance and business analytics roles. 

Mr. Pommells holds an MBA from Rollins College and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Donna Roberts

Donna L. Roberts was named Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer for Cracker Barrel in May 2020. She is responsible for overall strategic leadership and management of Human Resources.

Ms. Roberts joined Cracker Barrel in April 2012 as Associate General Counsel, advising the company on all aspects of labor and employment law. She was promoted to Vice President and Deputy General Counsel in 2018, and then became Vice President of Human Resources in 2019. Since joining Cracker Barrel, she’s been a six-time winner of “Best of the Bar” as nominated and voted by her peers and awarded by the Nashville Business Journal.

Before coming to Cracker Barrel, Ms. Roberts was a litigation partner at the regional law firm of Stites & Harbison, PLLC.

Ms. Roberts received her undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University and a J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law.

Cammie Spillyards-Schaefer

Cammie Spillyards-Schaefer was named Senior Vice President, Restaurant and Retail Operations for Cracker Barrel in January 2022. She is responsible for leading all operations including field and home office operations.

Ms. Spillyards-Schaefer has nearly three decades of experience in the restaurant industry in numerous positions. She joined Cracker Barrel in 2017 and has held a variety of roles including Regional Vice President of Restaurant Operations, and Vice President of Culinary.

Prior to joining Cracker Barrel, she owned and operated her own restaurants and held senior leadership positions at Dine Brands Global, Bloomin’ Brands and Brinker International.

Ms. Spillyards-Schaefer holds a degree in Culinary Arts from The Culinary Institute of America.

Mark Spurgin

Mark Spurgin joined Cracker Barrel in January 2023 as Senior Vice President, Chief Restaurant Supply Chain Officer. He is responsible for the company’s sourcing and supply chain functions including the sourcing of food, beverages, equipment and supplies.

Mr. Spurgin, who has more than 30 years of supply chain experience, served as Chief Supply Chain Officer for Restaurant Growth Services before joining Cracker Barrel. Prior to that, he was with The Cheesecake Factory and Bloomin’ Brands, where he led global procurement, logistics, and international supply chain teams.

He is a graduate of Texas A&M University.

Rich Wolfson

Rich Wolfson joined Cracker Barrel in August 2017 as Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary. He is responsible for all aspects of the company’s legal activities and its risk and compliance management functions. In addition, he oversees the quality assurance function.

Prior to joining Cracker Barrel, Mr. Wolfson spent 11 years at CLARCOR Inc. as Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. He was a partner of the InterAmerican Group, a private equity and corporate development advisory services business. He began his legal career in the Chicago office of Baker & McKenzie and became a partner of the leading global law firm.

Mr. Wolfson graduated with distinction from Northwestern University School of Law.
